Ben Harris There are plenty of self-styled experimental black metal outfits out there. Of all the one's I've had the outré pleasure of listening to, few can more confidently assert their claims of aberrant practices and subgenre subversion than ISR's output. It's a real testament to the potency of both projects featuring on this split, that the non-black metal elements aren't relegated to curious "filler" status, but are indeed some of the strongest moments on the record. In the deeper pits of winter. Behind the gleaming sun's dance on the dew kissed yew. A black sun bellows in burning illumination. Piercing through the comfort of nature's beauty. Revealing the currents endless flow beneath the veil.

The original rebirth of Venymysgourvleydh. When the darkness truly clawed it's way back during recording sessions for Ynkleudherhenavogyon and it was realised that this black stream may very well be the one which was to be travelled upon. For it's dark waters are the primordial wellspring for where my soul shovels the darkest mysteries for the currents between all to sing land elevate their presence within this plane.

Combining "Myji" and "Harvest II" which were both recorded originally for Ynkleudherhenavogyon. During the sporadic sessions Venymysgourvleydh was fully invoked once more and became flesh and spirit. As a focal point of feral darkness in it's rawest form. Here pathways were split internally.. One for the void to devour and one to dwell in primordial soil.
